	Johan Thurfjell

Johan Thurfjell (born 1970) is an artist living and working in Stockholm. He graduated from the Fine art program at the University College of Art Craft & Design in Stockholm 2002. He also studied a semester at the MFA program at Otis College of Art in Los Angeles in 2001. After graduation he had a 6 month period as artist in residence at IASPIS in Stockholm.

The last couple of years Thurfjell has exhibitited a lot, both solo and in group shows, in Sweden and abroad. He has also participated in a number of international film festivals, among them the Cannes film festival 2002.
